(about Apple) The contribution we were trying to make embodied values that were not only of technical excellence and innovation, which I think did our share off, but innovation in a more humanistic way. The things I’m most proud of Apple is of those two things that came together.

I’m absolutely convinced that by no means it’s (technology) the most important thing. The most important thing is another person. Another person that entice your curiosity, that guides your curiosity, that feeds your curiosity. And machines cannot do that the same way people can.

When you’re young, a little bit of course correction goes a long way. And I think it takes pretty talented people to do that and I don’t think enough of those get attracted into going in public eduction. You cannot even support a family with what you get paid.
